Insuring your self storage unit
Whether you are storing personal goods or business items, insuring the contents of your unit is simple and affordable. We have partnered with authorised Financial Services Provider Intasure and under their control are able to offer our customers a selection of insurance options to match their budget**.
Self storage insurance ensures that the contents of your self storage unit are covered against theft as well as fire and allied perils, subject to certain excesses, limitations and exclusions which you can read about on the Intasure website.
Self storage insurance options
Under a tiered insurance policy structure, our customers get to choose one of three levels of participation in our insurance policy. Starting from as little as R35 a month as outlined below, our customers can receive cover of up to R100 000 for theft by forceable entry and up to R250 000 in the case of fire and allied perils.
Our mandatory minimum cover is called “Basic Cover”. For added peace of mind, customers can select from two alternative options.
